From “California is a place.”, a website devoted to portraying California in a light that shows its quirky, deeper side. I think these microdocumentaries are a fantastic way to embrace the quick pace of internet journalism that still maintain the story-telling aspect of reporting. The videos are beautifully done, and this one about a Mariachi, I thought, was particularly beautiful.
